On Thursday 2 October, STORM Eindhoven presented itself as a competitor of the 80 Day Race. By building an electric motorcycle, STORM Eindhoven will prove that sustainable mobility is the future and can already be an attractive alternative to internal combustion engine driven vehicles of today. By focusing on safety, human technology interaction, aerodynamics, design, comfort and smart refuelling, STORM Eindhoven aims to reinvent the motorcycle and create the first electric cruiser. 

29 dedicated students work on the project which is set to release its first prototype in June 2015. After having tested and redesigned the motorcycle, the team will produce a series of vehicles to take part in the 80 Day Race from 3 April 2016.
